Thomas King OAM, Chief Investment Officer, Nanuk Asset Management

This year, rather than featuring a manager already in our portfolios, we presented a manager we are in active discussions with – Nanuk Asset Management. Nanuk specialises in the broad theme of environmental sustainability, with global expertise in areas including energy renewables and efficiency, vehicle electrification, advanced materials and manufacturing, waste and pollution management, and sustainable agriculture.

Mr King has a background in equity funds management, investment banking and private equity, and is currently the Chief Investment Officer and a founder of Nanuk Asset Management. He has previously held senior investment management and advisory roles at Consolidated Press Holdings Limited, NM Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Ltd, Herschel Asset Management Ltd and Hagen & Co Pty Ltd. Mr King holds a first class honours degree in Engineering from the University of Melbourne. Mr King has also won an Olympic gold medal in sailing and is a member of the Order of Australia.
