Many staff a profile had over the years mentioned and requested their desire to go go-karting for a work function. On Sunday 12th October 2008 Profile made this desire a reality and all staff and their families made their own way out to the go-karting track at Wilberforce near Windsor.
Everyone had an average of two 15min sessions go-karting. Some were racing quite competitively and others were just enjoying the drive. While there were many close calls and stacks.
After all the go-karting sessions had finished we made our way over to the park were we had some shade tents set up and everyone had brought their own tables and chairs for a BBQ lunch. We had steak, sausages, bread rolls, salad, plenty of drinks and lots more. After lunch most played an all in game of soccer where it was harder to figure out who’s on your team than it was to get a kick of the ball. Eventually everyone retired to sit and have a relaxing, cold and refreshing ice-cream and then Garry handed out lolly bags to all the kids. After this some people hung around a bit longer and took a walk down to the river and others started to make their way home. I think it was a great day for all.
